Sakura Michi Keycaps

The Sakura Michi keycaps are a good match for the Cherry MX switches. The backlight is very bright, and the keycaps are double-shot molded, so they are extremely durable and scratch-resistant. Besides that, they have additional add-on keys and the coveted MX clone mechanical switch. The Costar does not have a metal stabilizer bar and a plastic holder for longer & larger keys, but they are still a great choice.

The Tai Hao keyboard has 140 keys, but lacks the 2 unit right Shift key. Fortunately, the Ducky One 2 SF includes one. However, if you don’t have this key, you can replace it with the “0/Ins” key. This won’t affect the color gradient of the key caps. Lastly, if you’d like to install the PBT version of the Tai Hao keyboard, you can replace the right Shift with a ‘0/Ins’ key.

The Tai Hao keyboard has 140 keys, but lacks a 2 unit right Shift key. This is not a problem as the popular Ducky One 2 SF keyboard does have one. You can also substitute the “0/Ins'” key for the right Shift key. The replacement won’t affect the color gradient of the key caps. So, if you’re not using the Shift or the Esc keys, you can install the new PBT-based caps.

If you’re using the Tai Hao keyboard, you might want to replace the “0/Ins” key with a “0/Ins” key instead. If you have a SF keyboard, the “0/Ins” key will not effect the color gradient of the keys. This is an important feature of this type of a PBT-based keyboard. The resulting product is a seamless, highly durable product that will fit perfectly on most Cherry MX-style keyboards.

These keys are durable, but they have limited function. The keyboards do not have two-unit right Shift keys, like the Ducky One SF. If you need such a key, you can substitute a “0/Ins” key in its place. This will not affect the color gradient of the sakura michi keycap. In the end, you can install the new ones on any Cherry MX keyboard.

The PBT-Crystal keyboard has 140 keys. The SF model doesn’t have a 2-unit right Shift key. The popular Ducky One 2 SF has this type of key. In this case, the 0/Ins key can be substituted with a “0/Ins” key, which will not change the overall color gradient of the keys. This is another option for those who are not concerned with the color of their sakura Michi keyboard.
